Our mission is,

-          to enable students and professionals’ gaining enough knowledge in statistical planning, data collecting, data analyzing and deriving statistical inferences,    

-          to contribute to all stages of the scientific researches, from study design, through conducting, analyzing and interpretation, for researchers either from our university or from other universities and institutions,

-          to contribute health sciences by following modern improvements in biostatistics and by developing innovative biostatistical methods,

-          to promote management, application and propagation of information and technology in health sciences.

 

One of the objectives of this department is to establish the doctorate degree in coming years.
